We are currently seeking to fill part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions immediately.

Location: St. John Hospital – Moross, 22101 Moross Road, Detroit, MI 48236. Please note: online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: This is a part-time role with varying days, from 10:00 PM to 2:30 AM, including rotating weekends and holidays. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

Requirements: Previous experience as a barista or in hospitality is preferred, but not mandatory.

Compensation: The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary: This role involves the preparation, presentation, and serving of food as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients accurately.
• Safely transport pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators, adhering to safety standards.
• Store food items following established procedures for wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as necessary.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, appropriate serving temperatures, and precise portion control.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, adhering to defined service protocols.
• Address customer concerns and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards as well as inventory and cash control procedures.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety regulations.
• Carry out other assigned duties as required.
