Morrison Living is currently seeking to fill part-time Food Service Worker positions at the Lenawee Medical Facility located at 200 Sand Creek Highway, Adrian, MI 49221.

This part-time role features a flexible schedule, with days and hours subject to variation and rotation on weekends. Further details will be provided during the interview process. While previous food service experience is preferred, it is not a requirement as we are willing to provide training. The pay rate for this position is $15.25 per hour.

Job Summary: The Food Service Worker will prepare, present, and serve food as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preparatory work, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Accurately weigh and measure designated ingredients.
  • Transport pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
  • Store food in designated areas, adhering to wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
  • Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
  • Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, adhering to outlined service steps.
  • Address customer concerns and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
  • Uphold all sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
