We are seeking to fill part-time Food Service Worker positions immediately.
The role is located at Ann Arbor Public Schools, situated at 601 West Stadium Boulevard, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Please note that we only accept online applications.
The schedule for this position is part-time, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with additional details provided during the interview process.
Candidates must have prior experience in cleaning, food service, food preparation, and cooking.
The hourly pay for this position ranges from $16.00 to $18.00.

Job Summary
As a Food Service Worker, your primary responsibility will be to prepare, present, and serve food as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct prep work including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Safely transport pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
- Store food in specified areas following procedures for wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Adhere to approved recipes and production standards ensuring proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, following the outlined steps of service.
- Address customer concerns and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards, as well as inventory and cash control procedures.
- Adhere to all sanitation and safety regulations.
- Carry out other assigned duties as necessary.
