Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center, situated within the picturesque Hocking Hills State Park, is actively seeking candidates with outgoing, friendly, and welcoming personalities to fill the role of Front Desk Agent. The Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center is a newly established facility featuring 81 rooms, 40 cabins, a full-service restaurant/lounge, and banquet facilities that can accommodate up to 200 guests. As a Front Desk Agent, your initial responsibilities will include managing check-in and check-out processes for our 40 cabins, along with making reservations for the brand-new lodge. Once the lodge opens, the role will encompass all duties detailed below.
Responsibilities:
- Execute all check-in and check-out tasks effectively.
- Manage reservations received via online platforms and telephone.
- Inform guests about payment methods while verifying credit card information.
- Register guests, collecting essential information such as contact details and length of stay.
- Greet guests upon arrival and assign appropriate rooms.
- Provide detailed information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
- Address guest complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are immaculate and fully furnished to meet guests’ expectations.
- Promote additional facilities and services when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in another customer-facing role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computers, copiers, faxes, and other office equipment.
- Familiarity with answering multi-line telephones.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
