GENERAL SUMMARY:
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Detroit, MI

In this role, you will provide essential customer service and administrative support within a medical setting. Key responsibilities include:

– Welcoming patients and visitors, managing patient check-in and check-out processes, and gathering all necessary documentation.
– Verifying and entering demographic information accurately.
– Obtaining and validating insurance authorizations and precertification.
– Completing medical record release requests and scheduling/confirming patient appointments.
– Entering, reviewing, and submitting charges for patient procedures and services on a daily basis.
– Collecting co-payments and verifying the accuracy of daily financial reports and deposits.
– Offering general office and clerical support in designated areas.
