Job description:
GENERAL SUMMARY:
– Provide exceptional customer service while delivering administrative and clerical support to patients and customers within a medical environment.
– Warmly greet patients and visitors, facilitate check-in and check-out processes, and gather necessary documentation.
– Accurately verify and input demographic information into the system.
– Obtain and confirm insurance authorizations and precertifications as needed.
– Process medical record release requests and efficiently schedule and confirm patient appointments.
– Diligently enter, review, and submit charges for patient procedures and services on a daily basis.
– Collect co-payments and meticulously reconcile all daily reports and deposits to ensure accuracy.
– Offer general office and clerical support to the designated area.
Schedule: Full-time days, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
– High school diploma equivalency or a minimum of one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience is required.
– Required professional licensure or certification may be considered in lieu of education or experience when applicable.
– Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred.
