Job description:

Work in a customer service capacity, providing essential administrative and clerical support to patients and clients within a medical environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors, facilitating check-in and check-out processes, and obtaining necessary documentation while ensuring the verification and accurate entry of demographic information.
  • Gathering and confirming insurance authorizations/pre-certifications, managing medical record release requests, and scheduling/confirming patient appointments.
  • Accurately entering, reviewing, and submitting daily charges for patient procedures and services. Collecting co-payments and reconciling all daily reports and deposits for precision.
  • Offering general office and clerical support to the designated area.
