Hours of Operation

  • Monday: 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Tuesday: 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Wednesday: 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Friday: 8 AM – 3 PM
  • One Saturday per month: 8 AM – 2 PM

Qualifications
What qualities do you need to excel in this role?

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is preferred
  • 1-5 years of experience in customer service, insurance, or a dental setting is preferred
  • Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office programs, along with a willingness to learn new software as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Dependability and meticulous attention to detail in managing financial information, performing insurance verifications, and preparing end-of-day reports to ensure a worry-free experience for our patients
  • Completion of clerical tasks including sorting and distributing mail, scanning, photocopying, answering phone calls, and providing information to callers; greeting visitors/patients; and scheduling, verifying, and confirming patient appointments
  • Ability to explain procedures and services to patients with foundational dental knowledge
  • Communicating financial policies and arrangements to patients, collecting co-payments, and verifying insurance coverage when applicable
  • Monitoring appointment attendance, including tracking no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals
