Compensation: Smiling from Open to Close (Pay Rate: $15.00–$17.00 per hour)
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8 AM – 5 PM; Friday, 8 AM – 12 PM
Responsibilities:
To make a meaningful impression on our team, you will be expected to:
– Demonstrate dependability and uphold quality control as you manage financial information, verify insurance, and prepare daily reports, ensuring a worry-free experience for our patients.
– Execute clerical tasks, including sorting and distributing mail, scanning, and photocopying. You will also be responsible for answering phone calls, providing information to callers, greeting visitors and patients, and effectively scheduling, verifying, and confirming patient appointments.
– Utilize your dental knowledge to explain procedures and services to patients.
– Present financial policies and arrangements to patients, collecting co-payments and verifying insurance coverage as applicable.
– Monitor appointment schedules and manage records of no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
– A High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
– 1 to 5 years of experience in customer service, insurance, or dental settings is preferred.
– Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office programs, with a willingness to learn new systems as required.
