Refresh Dental in Southfield, MI, seeks a Front Desk Coordinator dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and prioritizing the needs of every patient. Hours of Operation:
Monday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Tuesday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Wednesday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Friday: 8 AM – 3 PM

Qualifications:
What You Will Bring to This Role:
– A High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
– 1-5 years of experience in customer service, insurance, or the dental field preferred
– Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to learn new programs as needed

Responsibilities:
Skills Required to Make a Lasting Impression on Our Team:
– Dependability and meticulous attention to quality control when managing financial information, performing insurance verifications, and preparing end-of-day reports, ensuring our patients remain worry-free
– Proficient in clerical tasks including sorting, opening, distributing mail, scanning, and photocopying. Responsible for answering phone calls, providing information to callers, greeting visitors and patients, and scheduling, verifying, and confirming patient appointments
– Ability to explain procedures and services to patients utilizing your dental knowledge
– Presenting financial policies and arrangements to patients, collecting co-payments, and verifying insurance coverage as appropriate
– Tracking patient appointments, including no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals
