At D1 Kalamazoo, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Front Desk Attendant. This role is not just an ordinary front desk position; you will be the first point of contact for local athletes of all ages and levels, providing them with the energy and enthusiasm they need to achieve their goals! Here’s a little more about the responsibilities we hope you can assist us with:

• Complete Opening and Closing Checklists
• Address customer support inquiries from both current and prospective members
• Manage phone calls and relay messages for Recruiters and Management
• Facilitate client check-ins for workouts and ensure precise attendance tracking
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in restrooms
• Ensure the fridge and shelves are well-stocked with food, beverages, and apparel
• Process all ancillary purchases in the MBO system
• Conduct daily social media tasks

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring a positive experience for athletes and guests at our facility. • Deliver exceptional customer service to athletes, guests, and visitors
• Assist with athlete check-ins and registrations

Requirements:

• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
• Ability to accurately handle transactions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children is a bonus
• CPR/AED certification is advantageous
• Public speaking skills to address groups of athletes and guests
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks
