Job Description
Job Title: Front Desk/Host
Company: Dave & Buster’s
Location: Lansing, MI
Pay: $12.48 – 16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $12.48 to $16 for a Front Desk/Host position in Lansing, MI, appears to be on the lower end of the scale when compared to industry standards for similar roles. According to data, average wages for front desk or hospitality positions in Michigan typically range from $14 to $20 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, establishment type, and location within the state. While the offered rate may attract entry-level candidates, it may not be competitive enough to retain experienced staff or attract applicants seeking higher wages, especially in a post-pandemic labor market where many employers are increasing pay to enhance recruitment and retention efforts. Overall, to ensure competitiveness and align with industry norms, a review and possible adjustment of the pay range may be advisable.
