Job description:
Front Desk Lead serves as the primary contact for inquiries and complex projects or concerns related to Front Desk Services, both for guests and associates. This position involves assisting with the training of new Front Desk Agents while also performing the duties of a Front Desk Agent, which include greeting and registering guests, providing exceptional service throughout their stay, and settling accounts upon departure.

Key responsibilities encompass focused training of front desk associates, managing guest registrations, making and modifying reservations, and performing hotel operator and concierge duties. The role requires delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay, while striving to maximize room revenue and occupancy.

QUALIFICATIONS:
– A high school diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework in a related field is preferred.
– Prior experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred, particularly in a leadership capacity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Foster effective communication and teamwork with fellow associates and other hotel departments.
– Adhere to all Aimbridge Hospitality credit policies.
– Stay informed about all rates, packages, special promotions, in-house groups, and closed/restricted dates.
– Gather all necessary information when processing room reservations and follow the appropriate rate quoting procedures.
– Familiarize yourself with Aimbridge Hospitality policies, house rules, and hospitality terminology.
– Assist in emergency procedures as required.
– Manage check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
– Fully understand and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
– Remain attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow associates at all times.
– Ensure the logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests and meeting rooms as needed.
– Utilize proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with colleagues.
– Attend meetings as required by management.
– Carry out any other duties as requested by management.
– Access back-of-house areas of the hotel and manage sensitive information appropriately.
– Demonstrated ability to handle cash, prepare and deposit cash drops, and maintain balanced cash procedures.
– Occasionally engage in unsupervised interactions with guests and colleagues.
– Control access to sensitive areas of the hotel, including master keys, guestrooms, storage areas, liquor rooms, and secured files.
– Drive safely on behalf of the company for business purposes.
