As the initial point of contact for our customers, Receptionists play a vital role in our stores by greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly manner. They are responsible for maintaining organized patient records, facilitating smooth patient scheduling, and ensuring that our operations run efficiently. The Receptionist provides prompt and courteous service to customers both over the phone and in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Facilitate an efficient flow of customers throughout the store.
  • Answer, screen, and properly route incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocols.
  • Process managed care plans and obtain necessary documentation from insurance companies as required.
  • Provide customers with accurate and relevant information.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-ups, and classes.
  • Maintain daily filing of patient records and prepare files for upcoming appointments.
  • Check the status of orders and inform customers of order arrivals or any delays.
  • Maintain an organized and presentable reception area with all necessary materials.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries while keeping an inventory of office supplies.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading and speaking English.
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience or training is advantageous.
  • Experience managing multiple phone lines is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.
