Job description:

As a valued member of our team, the Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. This role is essential for maintaining organized patient records and facilitating a seamless scheduling process. By providing excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone, the Receptionist contributes significantly to the overall operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain a smooth flow of customers through the store.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in compliance with National Vision protocols.
  • Process managed care plans and gather necessary documentation from insurance providers when required.
  • Provide customers with accurate information on services and products.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
  • Organize and file patient records daily, and prepare files for upcoming appointments.
  • Monitor order status and promptly notify customers regarding order arrivals or any delays.
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy and well-stocked with necessary materials.
  • Manage daily mail and deliveries, and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Actively participate in scheduled communication meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or in a similar capacity is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience or training is preferred.
  • Familiarity with handling multiple phone lines is an advantage.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required.

Education:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
