As the first point of contact for customers, Receptionists play a vital role in our operations, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. They are responsible for maintaining patient schedules, managing records, and delivering outstanding service both in-person and over the phone.

What will you be responsible for?

– Delivering high-quality customer service while adhering to all safety protocols.
– Facilitating a smooth flow of customers throughout the store.
– Managing incoming phone calls by answering, screening, and forwarding them according to National Vision protocols.
– Processing managed care plans and obtaining necessary documentation from insurance providers.
– Providing accurate and essential information to customers.
– Scheduling and confirming appointments, follow-up visits, and educational classes.
– Filing patient records daily and preparing files for the next day’s appointments.
– Checking order statuses and informing customers of their order arrivals or any delays.
– Maintaining a tidy and presentable reception area with all necessary materials readily available.
– Receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail and deliveries, while also managing office supply inventory.
– Participating in scheduled mandatory communication meetings.

Are you the ideal candidate?

– Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
– 0-2 years of relevant experience or training is preferred.
– Experience managing multiple phone lines is highly desirable.
– Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
– Strong organizational skills are required.

Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
