Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Medical Receptionist and Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at Sunshein Podiatry Associates. This position is critical within our bustling practice, especially as we expand with the addition of a second physician. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to think quickly, devise solutions for dynamically changing circumstances, and demonstrate adaptability. We are looking for a proactive leader who can effectively manage responsibilities.

The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key responsibilities include:

– Welcoming patients and visitors both in person and via telephone.
– Optimizing patient satisfaction, provider efficiency, and treatment room utilization through effective appointment scheduling.
– Easing patient apprehensions by addressing their questions and concerns.
– Maintaining a welcoming and organized reception area.
– Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient paperwork and records.
– Managing patient accounts by accurately obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
– Upholding patient confidentiality and rights.
– Adhering to operational policies and procedures while identifying areas for improvement.
