Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and guiding all Front-End business components to ensure the delivery of superior service and value. This role will entail providing oversight and direction to team members to surpass performance expectations across various areas, including Frontline, Membership, Front Door, and Utility Clerks. The incumbent will implement company initiatives to drive membership metrics and growth, enhance VOM scores, uphold maintenance standards, and validate the performance of Membership Experience Ambassadors and front-door operations as required. The position also entails key holder responsibilities for the club.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

  • Concentrate on membership performance, frontline service, VOM, and club promotions.
  • Build effective teams within Member Services, Frontline, and Membership Ambassadors through ongoing training, performance management, and feedback.
  • Ensure appropriate personnel and processes are in place consistently.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of club policies and procedures across all relevant areas.
  • Oversee club maintenance, including the parking lot and relevant policies/procedures.
  • Implement company programs associated with all areas of responsibility in alignment with expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures to maintain control and integrity within the Front End.
  • Leverage company reporting tools to evaluate departmental performance and make operational decisions that enhance member experience, sales, and profitability.
  • Work collaboratively with the Assistant Club Manager on team member assessments, providing actionable feedback and fostering accountability.
  • Communicate effectively with club team members, management, and support teams regarding membership and frontline operations.
  • Establish operational efficiencies and productivity standards by ensuring adherence to established processes.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of all equipment and supplies within the frontline.
  • Drive membership metrics through programs focused on acquisition, retention, loyalty, and overall member experience.
  • Achieve or exceed key performance and Membership Fee Income goals as assigned.
  • Maintain expected productivity standards for the Frontline and continuously monitor service levels to ensure a positive experience for members.
  • Oversee the execution of Membership and Frontline team member scorecards weekly.
  • Manage front door recoveries and any necessary retraining or disciplinary actions.
  • Uphold all club policies and procedures diligently.
  • Perform additional duties as required, including roles in other departments when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Prior customer service or sales experience is required.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel, Email) is necessary.
  • High school diploma required; college degree and/or prior big box wholesale, retail, grocery, and/or management experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to manage and supervise cross-functional teams, train staff, and effectively communicate and achieve results.
  • Open availability for shifts is mandatory.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job Conditions:
