As a Full-Time/Part-Time Member Services Representative, your responsibilities will encompass a range of activities including, but not limited to:
Customer Service/Front Desk Activities:
- Welcome members and guests with exceptional customer service to ensure they feel comfortable and valued.
- Answer telephone inquiries in a friendly manner, assisting callers with a variety of questions.
- Check in members, conduct facility tours, facilitate new membership sign-ups, log amenities, and communicate updates and events to both members and guests.
- Promptly address member questions and concerns in a professional manner.
- Process beverage and merchandise purchases through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Utilize the POS system to manage new memberships, address changes, and inquiries regarding billing or payment.
Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and orderly front desk area and lobby, going above and beyond in cleanliness efforts.
- Perform routine facility cleaning and upkeep tasks, including mopping spills around equipment, trash removal, window and mirror cleaning, and re-racking weights.
- Conduct daily cleaning of assigned equipment zones.
- Ensure regular cleaning and stocking of restrooms and wet areas.
Qualifications:
- Preferred 6-12 months of customer service experience; high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess above-average computer proficiency with a strong attention to detail.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Exemplary customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and co-workers, consistently exceeding expectations.
Physical Demands/Requirements:
- Must be capable of continuous standing and/or walking throughout the shift.
- Engage in constant interactions with members both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs is required.
- Daily exposure to cleaning chemicals (pH-balanced solutions) is expected.
