We seek an individual who will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with an emphasis on exceptional floor care. Key responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, as well as performing dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. The role demands adherence to operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards. Additionally, the candidate will be cross-trained to support different areas of the store, addressing business needs effectively.

– Serve as a role model by exemplifying established customer experience practices with both internal and external customers.
– Foster and uphold a positive store culture characterized by honesty, integrity, and respect.
– Ensure adherence to all cleanliness standards related to floor care, including the maintenance and operation of cleaning equipment.
– Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards across the entire store, encompassing the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
– Comply with company policies regarding health and safety, which includes replenishing essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end.
– Be cross-trained in various store areas (backroom, front end, sales floor, etc.) to support all operational needs.
– Respond supportively to coverage requirements at the front end.
– Maintain merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
– Proactively engage in store recovery tasks as needed throughout the day.
– Adhere to operational and loss prevention protocols, including shrink reduction, in accordance with company guidelines.
– Communicate clearly and effectively with management and associates.
– Follow all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including meal and break period policies.
– Participate in safety awareness initiatives to sustain a secure work environment.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
