Job description:
Job Purpose: The primary objective of the General Manager is to oversee the operations of the hotel while upholding the established cost and quality standards, ensuring superior service delivery and maximizing profitability.

Job Responsibilities:
* Develop both short-term and long-term financial and operational plans that align with the overarching goals of the organization. Prepare the annual budget for the hotel.
– Monitor the hotel’s performance by verifying and analyzing guest satisfaction metrics and monthly financial reports, taking corrective actions as necessary.
– Uphold product and service quality standards through continuous evaluations and prompt investigations of complaints, implementing necessary corrective measures.
– Execute and sustain local and national sales and marketing initiatives.
– Establish and maintain a proactive human resources function to foster employee motivation, facilitate training and development, administer wages and benefits, and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
– Implement and oversee relevant preventative maintenance programs to safeguard the hotel’s physical assets.
– Maintain a robust security protocol to protect the hotel’s assets and ensure the personal safety of both employees and guests.
– Foster efficient two-way communication systems that transcend departmental boundaries to engage all employees.
– Create innovative programs designed to enhance guest satisfaction and achieve operational excellence.
– Operate in compliance with established company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
