About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Security General Manager with prior event management experience to lead and coordinate activities within our organization, specifically for venues in the Columbus, OH market. Your key objective will be to optimize operational efficiency, drive economic performance, and maximize profitability through effective management and coaching of the operations team.

Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Security Management: Oversee all operational facets, including planning, business qualification, event assessment, and profitability metrics while ensuring customer satisfaction across all accounts.
  • Strategy Development: Formulate and implement strategies to enhance operations and provide value in a cost-effective manner.
  • Communication: Establish and communicate clear objectives to the operations team and the broader organization, while maintaining accurate records for both internal and external reporting.
  • Contract Execution: Manage all aspects of contract execution, encompassing cost estimation, labor supervision, scheduling, invoicing, and collections.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage regularly with clients to ensure their needs are met and actively seek feedback for continuous improvement in satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and develop team members, ensuring effective planning, assignment, and direction of work. Facilitate recruitment and training of new staff as necessary.
  • Travel Requirements: Flexibility for up to 25% travel is necessary.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other responsibilities as requested or required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in operations, service delivery, field, or project management, ideally within event staffing, security, sports management, or athletics.
  • Background Check: Must be capable of passing a background check.

Physical and Mental Demands:
Candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear, with occasional requirements to climb, stoop, bend, or reach overhead.
