Job description:

The Grill Cook is tasked with the preparation and cooking of menu items at the grill located at Pheasant Run Golf Club. Key responsibilities encompass the preparation of a limited selection of items and the proficient use of large-scale, single-purpose cooking appliances.

Duties Include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.

Essential Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in commercial cooking and food preparation is preferred.
  • ServSafe Food & Alcohol Safety certification is desirable.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in handling monetary transactions with accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and operate independently without close supervision.
  • A self-motivated individual capable of initiating tasks independently.
  • Strong communication skills to convey procedures, issues, and policies clearly and courteously to colleagues and the public.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale technology is preferred.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a driving history free from significant liability concerns, including but not limited to reckless driving, careless driving, license suspensions, or incidents involving impaired driving.
