We are currently seeking individuals for various roles with flexible schedules, accommodating both Full-Time and Part-Time positions, depending on the role and team. - Customer Service / Store Support: Cashier, Cashier Assistant (Bagging, Carts), Sanitation

- Meat: Counter Service, Oven-Ready Prep

- Produce / Floral: Stocker, Clerk, Floral Arrangements, Production (Fruit and Vegetable Cutting)

- Specialty: Beer, Wine, Cheese Cutting and Wrapping, Chocolate, Pub Service
- Whole Body: Stocker (Vitamins, Supplements, Body Care, Clothing and Gifts)

As a Team Member, you will perform essential duties related to customer service, stocking, and sanitation in assigned departments. All roles at Whole Foods Market require fostering a positive company image through courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and fellow Team Members. Each position must adhere to the established Standard Operating Procedures of the team and store. Team Members are expected to fulfill the responsibilities inherent to their job descriptions and strive to support Whole Foods Market’s core values, programs, and health and safety regulations.

- No prior retail experience is necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Flexibility to work schedules that include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Execute opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
- Adhere to department procedures for product preparation, storage, rotation, and stocking.
- Prepare, package, weigh, and price products for sale.
- Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring proper rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and adequate stock levels in cases and on shelves.
- Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep logs as necessary.
- Assist with periodic inventory checks.
- Arrive punctually at your workstation, appropriately groomed and dressed for work; attend all scheduled shifts, required training sessions, and meetings.
- Provide exemplary customer service, promptly addressing customer needs, and applying suggestive selling techniques; answer phones and pages courteously.
- Maximize sales potential through effective product prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
- Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation standards, and safe work practices.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; ensure equipment cleanliness according to Whole Foods Market standards.
- Ensure accuracy in signage and pricing.
- Promptly report safety hazards and violations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to acquire basic knowledge of all products offered in the department.
- Capability to visually assess products for quality and freshness.
- Proactive engagement in reading labels and familiarizing oneself with various products.
- Strong to excellent communication skills with a willingness to collaborate as part of a team.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Capability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
- Skillful hand use involving single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Engagement in motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including sub-freezing and above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Willingness to work in wet and/or cold environments.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment, including box cutters, knives, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, six-wheel carts, balers, and other heavy machinery.
New entry-level Team Members who successfully complete their first 90 days of employment and remain actively employed in an eligible role may qualify for a base rate increase after their 90-day anniversary.
