Job Title: Ground Transportation Coordinator – Part time

Company: Columbus Regional Airport Authority

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay: $19.5 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $19.50 for a part-time Ground Transportation Coordinator in Columbus, OH, appears to be on the lower end of the competitive pay scale for similar roles in the region. According to industry standards, the average hourly wage for logistics and transportation coordinators generally ranges from $20 to $25, depending on experience and specific job responsibilities. Additionally, factors such as the cost of living in Columbus and the demand for transportation services can influence competitiveness. While $19.50 may attract some candidates, it may not retain skilled professionals or ensure high-quality service, especially in a market where higher wages are increasingly common.

Job description:
The Columbus Regional Airport Authority is responsible for the management and operation of John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK), and Bolton Field (TZR), each with a distinct focus on passenger service, cargo operations, and general aviation, respectively.

– Track charter bus activities for accurate billing purposes.
– Execute related duties as required.

Your smooth “Landing” will be ensured by meeting the following qualifications:

– Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with the public.
– Availability to work Sundays and Mondays from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
– Willingness to work in an outdoor environment and maintain activity throughout the majority of the shift.
– Proficiency in organizing and maintaining both paper and electronic documentation.
– Compensation: $19.50/hour, with additional shift differentials.
– Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes screening for marijuana (please note that medical marijuana cards are not accepted).
