As a Help Desk Technician, you will troubleshoot, advise, and devise solutions for our esteemed clients’ technology infrastructures. Your expertise will serve as the backbone of our support desk, acting as a technical advocate for both frontline and executive-level employees. You will be entrusted with providing definitive solutions to hardware and network issues, delivering the help desk expertise that our customers depend on.

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Hybrid option available after 60 days of employment
Classification: Full Time
Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with the ability to work occasional overtime
Salary: $19.00 to $24.00/hour plus benefits
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming support calls and emails
- Triage support requests and assign them to the appropriate technician level
- Manage the deployment calendar for Field Technicians and Field Engineers
- Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLA) for tickets are consistently met
- Collaborate with the support team to manage the ticketing queue
- Open, manage, and close help desk tickets
- Provide mobile device, desktop, and laptop support to our clients
- Efficiently install and configure desktop operating systems (both Windows and Mac)
- Migrate user data when needed
- Offer support and guidance for Office 365
- Troubleshoot and remediate hardware, software, network, and printing issues
- Facilitate the configuration of new devices onto client networks
- Complete and articulate customer network audits
- Create comprehensive documentation of client infrastructure
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in Help Desk or Technical Support
- Outstanding customer service skills
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications (or a commitment to obtaining them within six months of hire)
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) – Operating, Networking, and Security Fundamentals (or equivalent)
- Basic network troubleshooting abilities
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
