Job Title: Home Care Aide

Company: Brookdale Senior Living

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay: $15 – 16.88 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $16.88 for a Home Care Aide in Columbus, OH, is generally within the competitive range for this role, although it may be on the lower end compared to national averages. As of October 2023, the typical pay for home care aides in the United States is approximately $14 to $20 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, certifications, and the specific duties involved. In Ohio, wages for this position may vary but often align with or slightly exceed the state minimum wage. Given the demand for home care services and the rising costs of living, especially in urban areas, some employers might offer higher rates or additional benefits to attract qualified candidates, which suggests that while this rate is acceptable, it may not be fully competitive for attracting talent in a tight labor market.
