Become a Help at Home Hero today! As a Home Care Aide, you will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, supporting them with the following activities:
- Light housekeeping, including organization, laundry, and basic cleaning
- Assistance with personal care such as dressing, grooming, and meal support
- Running errands, grocery shopping, and accompanying clients to appointments
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be an STNA or have completed a Home Health Aide Training program comprising at least 75 hours, inclusive of 16 hours of supervised practical training and covering the essential topics.
- Must be in good physical health, with documentation of a tuberculosis test completed within six months prior to your first assignment (where required).
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, including adherence to organizational and state-required training.
Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements. Compensation, benefits, time off, and bonuses may vary by state and location. In Ohio only—effective December 9, 2024, caregivers will be eligible for a $500 hiring bonus dependent upon maintaining active employment with at least 500 hours worked. Additionally, a second $500 bonus will be awarded to caregivers who complete an extra 500 hours. Caregivers must be active employees at the time of bonus payout. New hires and previous caregivers who have not worked for Help at Home within the last 12 months are eligible for the bonus. Caregivers transferring from other organizations within the Help at Home, LLC portfolio are not eligible for this bonus.
