As a Home Care Aide, you will provide personalized care to clients in their homes, assisting them with a variety of activities, including:

  • Light housekeeping tasks such as organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
  • Personal care activities, including dressing, grooming, and assistance with meals
  • Running errands, grocery shopping, and accompanying clients to appointments

Preferred Requirements:

  • Hold an STNA certification or have at least one year of supervised employment experience as a home health aide or nurse aide, or have completed a Training and Competency Evaluation Program of at least 30 hours covering the essential topics.
  • If you do not meet the above qualifications, you must complete a company-paid 30-hour training prior to engaging with clients.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, including training required by the organization and state regulations.

*Please note that caregivers must meet state background screening requirements. Compensation, benefits, time off, and bonuses may vary by state and location.

For Ohio applicants only – Effective December 9, 2024, eligibility for a $500 hiring bonus will be contingent upon remaining an active employee with at least 500 hours worked. Additionally, caregivers who log an extra 500 hours will be eligible for a second $500 bonus. Caregivers must be active employees at the time of bonus distribution. New and former caregivers who have not worked with Help at Home within the past 12 months qualify for the bonus. Caregivers transferring from other organizations within Help at Home, LLC are not eligible for the bonus. Caregivers will also receive paid training that must be completed before starting work, with compensation provided after finishing 80 scheduled hours.
