Become a Help at Home Hero today! In the role of Home Care Aide, you will provide one-on-one support to clients within their homes by assisting with the following activities:
- Light housekeeping tasks, including organization, laundry, and basic cleaning
- Personal care services, such as dressing, grooming, and meal assistance
- Running errands, grocery shopping, and accompanying clients to appointments
Eligibility Requirements:
- Candidates must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or have completed a Home Health Aide Training program consisting of at least 75 hours, including 16 hours of supervised practical training covering the necessary topics.
- Good physical health is essential, including documentation of a tuberculosis test conducted within six months prior to the first assignment (where required).
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, including compliance with organizational and state-required training.
Please note that caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements. Compensation, benefits, time off, and bonuses may vary by state and location. In Ohio only, effective December 9, 2024, eligibility for a $500 hiring bonus will be based on maintaining active employee status with at least 500 hours worked. An additional bonus of $500 will be awarded to caregivers who complete an extra 500 hours. Caregivers must be active employees at the time of bonus payout. New caregivers and those who have not worked for Help at Home in the past 12 months will qualify for the bonus, while caregivers transferring from within the Help at Home, LLC portfolio are not eligible for this incentive.
