As a Home Care Aide, you will work one-on-one with clients in their homes, assisting them with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Light housekeeping, such as organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
  • Personal care activities, including dressing, grooming, and meal assistance
  • Running errands, grocery shopping, and accompanying clients to appointments

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a certified STNA or have completed a Home Health Aide training program of at least 75 hours, including 16 hours of supervised practical training covering the requisite topics
  • Must be in good physical health, with documentation of a tuberculosis test taken within the six months prior to the first assignment (where required)
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, including adherence to organizational and state-mandated training

Please note that caregivers must meet state background screening requirements. Compensation, benefits, time off, and bonuses may vary by state and location. In Ohio only, effective December 9, 2024, a $500 hiring bonus is available to those who remain an active employee, having completed at least 500 hours of work. A second bonus of $500 will be awarded to caregivers who work an additional 500 hours. Caregivers must be current employees to qualify for bonus payouts. New and previous caregivers who have not worked with Help at Home in the past 12 months are eligible for this incentive. Caregivers transferring from other organizations within the Help at Home, LLC portfolio are not eligible for the bonus.
