AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $17 for the role of “Home Care Aide STNA” in Port Clinton, OH, appears to be on the lower end of the spectrum for similar positions in the region. According to industry standards, home care aides and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) typically earn between $12 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and specific job requirements, with many positions at larger agencies or facilities offering higher rates, especially for those with specialized skills or during peak hours. Considering the cost of living in Ohio and the demand for healthcare workers, this wage may be considered less competitive, potentially impacting recruitment and retention for such roles.
