As the cornerstone of our organization, our Home Health Aides play a vital role in caring for those in need and contributing to our communities. Starting pay ranges from $15.50 to $17 per hour, based on experience and availability, along with potential incentives for picking up last-minute shifts and other additional opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and engage clients through activities such as walks, social outings, and hobbies to foster meaningful connections.
  • Assist clients in maintaining their independence at home through light housekeeping and personal care management.
  • Offer transportation and run errands for clients as necessary.
  • Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical conditions, behavior, or appearance.
  • Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Manage meal planning, preparation, and feeding as required.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
To be considered for employment, all candidates must meet the following firm requirements:

  • A genuine passion for serving and enhancing the lives of others.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Previous experience as an at-home caregiver or in senior care facilities.
  • A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle. Documentation will be verified prior to employment, and candidates must meet this requirement to be offered a position.
  • Willingness to travel directly to clients’ homes, with preferences observed regarding distance limitations. Our services cover Washtenaw and Livingston counties, ensuring you will not be required to exceed established preferences.
  • Capability to run errands, transport clients to appointments, or provide other necessary transportation services. Mileage is reimbursed at a rate of $0.55 per mile.
