Key Responsibilities:
– Provide companionship through engaging activities such as accompanying clients on walks, and outings, and assisting with hobbies, to foster meaningful connections.
– Support clients in maintaining their independence at home by assisting with light housekeeping and personal care management.
– Facilitate transportation for clients and run errands as needed.
– Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical conditions, behaviors, or appearances.
– Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
– Manage meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
– Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following firm requirements for consideration:
– A genuine passion for serving others and helping them lead fulfilling lives.
– A high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
– Prior experience as a caregiver in home settings or within senior care communities.
– A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle. Required documentation will be verified prior to employment, and failure to meet this criterion will result in ineligibility for the position.
– Willingness to travel directly to clients’ homes, with noted preferences for distance limitations within Washtenaw and Livingston counties, ensuring you are not required to travel outside of these preferences.
– Availability to run errands, provide transportation, and drive clients to appointments, with mileage reimbursed at a rate of $0.55 per mile.
