According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of 2021, home health aides typically earn between $12 and $18 per hour nationally, with variations based on experience, certifications, and local demand. Given that Hillsboro is a smaller city, the pay range of $16 to $18 reflects a fair compensation for the responsibilities involved, considering local cost of living and wage averages.
