Job Description
Job Title: Hospice Aide, STNA – Full Time
Company: Gentiva
Location: Mount Vernon, OH
Pay: $14.2 – 16.75 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14.20 to $16.75 for a Hospice Aide, STNA – Full Time in Mount Vernon, OH, is generally below the national average for similar roles in the healthcare sector. As of 2023, Hospice Aides and State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) typically earn between $15 and $20 per hour, depending on experience and specific job responsibilities. Factors such as local demand for healthcare workers, cost of living, and the specific employer can influence these rates. Given that Mount Vernon is a smaller market compared to larger metropolitan areas, this rate may reflect local economic conditions. However, it may not be competitive enough to attract and retain qualified professionals, especially considering the demanding nature of the work. Overall, while the offer is typical for some areas, it could be enhanced to better align with industry standards and attract skilled candidates.
