Job Description
Job Title: Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant – Hospice Aide
Company: SouthernCare
Location: Youngstown, OH
Pay: $14.2 – 16.75 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14.20 to $16.75 for a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Hospice Aide in Youngstown, OH, is generally on the lower end of the pay scale for this role. According to industry standards, hospice caregivers often earn between $12 to $20 per hour depending on experience, certification, and geographic location. While rates can vary widely, the offered pay may be competitive for entry-level positions or those in smaller facilities, but it could be considered below average for experienced CNAs, especially given the specialized nature of hospice care. Therefore, while it might attract entry-level applicants, it could deter more experienced candidates seeking higher compensation for this emotionally demanding work.
