Job Title: Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant – Hospice Aide

Company: SouthernCare Hospice Services

Location: Marion, OH

Pay: $14.2 – 16.75 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14.20 to $16.75 for a “Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant – Hospice Aide” in Marion, OH, is generally considered to be on the lower end of the pay scale for similar positions. Nationally, the average hourly wage for hospice aides typically ranges from $15 to $20, depending on experience, certifications, and the cost of living in specific areas. In Ohio, wages can vary, but many hospice facilities often offer rates that are competitive with this range, with variations reflecting local demand and healthcare funding. Therefore, while the offered rate is within the potential range for this role, it may be less competitive when factoring in the experience and the emotional demands associated with hospice care, potentially suggesting a need for adjustment to attract qualified candidates.
