Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will warmly welcome guests, expertly seat them within the restaurant, and ensure they have an exceptional dining experience. Your natural ability to connect with people will foster a welcoming atmosphere, while your attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks will enhance the overall guest experience. Utilizing your outstanding organizational and communication skills, you will consistently deliver your best for yourself, your colleagues, and our valued guests.

Responsibilities:
– Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
– Provide guests with menus and relevant information.
– Assign patrons to tables based on their preferences and the service rotation to ensure an equitable workload for servers.
– Inform guests of current promotions and introduce their server to facilitate a seamless transition to service.
– Manage guest flow into the dining and bar areas, providing accurate wait times to incoming guests when necessary.
– Operate cash registers to process payments for food and beverages.

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in restaurant hosting or serving is preferred.
– A friendly and customer-centric demeanor.
– Proficient in delivering clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as understanding requests for assistance.
– Capability to communicate guests’ needs effectively to Servers, Bussers, Managers, and other staff members.
– Strong telephone communication skills.
