Job description:

Pay: $17 per hour

At Great Wolf, the Host/Hostess plays a vital role as the initial point of contact for guests, contributing significantly to the overall dining experience by ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This position involves greeting guests, escorting them to their designated tables, and attending to their needs throughout their dining experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome patrons and escort them to their assigned dining area while effectively tracking table availability using the floor plan board.
  • Inform customers of current promotions and provide details regarding their assigned server.
  • Manage the patron waitlist as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies to safeguard the establishment and its patrons.
  • Assist the dining room staff by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages as needed.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential, based on business demands, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening is required.
