Job description:

Pay: $17 per hour

At Great Wolf, the Host/Hostess serves as the first point of contact for guests, playing a pivotal role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. This position is essential for greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, and attentively monitoring their needs throughout their visit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and guide them to their designated dining areas, while effectively tracking table availability through a floor plan board.
  • Communicate current promotions to customers and inform them of their assigned server.
  • Manage the patron waitlist as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies to protect both the establishment and its guests.
  • Support the dining room staff by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages as needed.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Flexibility in scheduling is required, accommodating the needs of the business including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening is mandatory.
