Job description:

At Great Wolf, the Host/Hostess plays a crucial role as the initial point of contact for guests, ensuring that all patrons feel welcomed and valued during their dining experience. This position is responsible for greeting guests, escorting them to their designated tables, and attentively monitoring their needs throughout the service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Extend a warm welcome to patrons and escort them to their assigned dining area while effectively tracking table availability via the floor plan board.
  • Inform customers about current promotions and ensure they are aware of their assigned server.
  • Manage the patron wait list as needed to ensure efficient seating.
  • Uphold the establishment’s standards by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies.
  • Assist dining room staff by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages as required.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as this role may require availability during nights, weekends, and holidays based on business demands.
