Job Summary: The Hotel Front Desk Representative is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the hotel front desk by addressing guests’ needs and upholding Odawa Casino Resort’s high standards of quality through established service protocols.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
– Warmly greet all guests and Team Members, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
– Demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor, serving as a role model for fellow Team Members.
– Manage reservations for accommodations via telephone, email, fax, or in-person requests.
– Efficiently register guests using the hotel’s current computer software upon arrival.
– Process payments and issue accurate change as necessary.
– Respond to all guest inquiries and requests promptly and effectively.
– Maintain thorough knowledge of current and forthcoming promotions and events at Odawa Casino Resort.
– Provide assistance, instruction, and guidance to guests and fellow Team Members as needed.
– Address and resolve any guest complaints professionally.
– Close guest accounts upon their departure from the hotel.
– Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment for both Team Members and guests.
– Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
– Attend mandatory meetings and complete all required training satisfactorily.
– Uphold confidentiality in all interactions and situations.
– Work at other properties as required by operational needs.
– Undertake any additional duties within the scope of the role as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required.

– Proficient math skills, including the ability to accurately count change.
– Ability to stand for extended periods.
– Flexibility in scheduling, with the willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and special events as necessary.
– Passing a skills assessment test may be required to determine qualification for the position.
– Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission and comply with all applicable laws.
