About the hotel: The Sleep Inn and Suites MT Hope is seeking to expand our front desk staff.

Job Description: The Hotel Front Desk Representative is primarily responsible for addressing guest needs, particularly during the check-in and check-out processes.

Essential Job Functions:
– Adhere to the required uniform policy, including name tag, earpiece, and radio.
– Greet all guests warmly upon arrival.
– Provide comprehensive information regarding hotel policies, services, and amenities.
– Respond to guest requests, sell rooms to walk-in guests, and handle reservations in the property management system.
– Post charges to guest accounts and process payments accurately.
– Make necessary adjustments to guest accounts and notify housekeeping of any room changes.
– Listen to and address guest complaints effectively.
– Operate the phone system and maintain cleanliness at the front desk and surrounding areas.
– Complete shift checklists and maintain daily logs.
– Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
– Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.

Additional Responsibilities:
– Maintain a positive attitude conducive to team growth, hospitality, and a service-oriented environment.
– Demonstrate willingness to engage in additional hospitality training and education.
– Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor or general manager.
