In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering outstanding guest service while ensuring the operational excellence of the facility. Alongside the engineering team, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and performing preventative maintenance on various systems and equipment within and around the hotel. A strong sense of pride and commitment to your work, coupled with effective teamwork, is essential.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide exceptional service with warmth and attentiveness to our guests.
  • Respond promptly to guest concerns and requests.
  • Carry out proactive maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of hotel facilities.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all maintenance activities.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and rotate 50 lbs or more.
  • Manual dexterity to operate and handle tools effectively.
  • Capability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Proficiency in standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Trade school training or General Maintenance/Technician certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in general maintenance and repair work is required; prior experience in a hotel setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards.
