Job description:

Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to become a valued member of our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring routine maintenance and repairs are performed effectively, contributing to a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for both our guests and staff.

Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16 – $20 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across the hotel property, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of interior and exterior spaces, including painting, drywall repairs, landscaping, and general cleaning.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and tools, and report any shortages to management for timely replenishment.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of hotel equipment as necessary.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to address maintenance concerns, ensuring a satisfactory experience for our guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role, ideally within the hospitality sector.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Proficient use of hand and power tools, demonstrating safety and efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently while prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, ascend ladders, and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, bending, or kneeling.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC certification or relevant experience.
