Job description:
A Housekeeper is primarily responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel are maintained in a clean and appealing condition. This role involves servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stocking the housekeeping cart with supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room amenities while adhering to company standards and safety protocols. Additionally, this role may require performing ‘deep cleaning’ tasks within guest rooms alongside preventative maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; experience in the hospitality industry or a related field is preferred.
- This position necessitates strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.
- Candidates must be skilled in conveying information and ideas clearly.
- Ability to quickly and accurately evaluate and choose among alternative courses of action is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, with scheduling that varies based on hotel needs.
- Adhere to high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag during shifts, as per brand standards.
- Consistently comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms each shift.
- Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, which include preparing guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens for housekeeping cart setup.
- Remove all trash and soiled linens from guest rooms.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- You may be required to disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms to facilitate deep cleaning.
- Deep cleaning tasks may include, but are not limited to, changing the AC filter, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, repairing scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.
