The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel are clean and visually appealing. This position entails daily servicing of guest rooms in accordance with hotel procedures, which includes restocking the supply cart, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest amenities while adhering to company standards and safety/security protocols. Additionally, the Housekeeper may be tasked with performing deep cleaning duties within guest rooms and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in a hotel or related field.
  • This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.

  • Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning products, and linens.
  • Remove all trash and soiled linens from guest rooms.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • May be required to disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms to conduct deep cleaning.
  • Deep cleaning responsibilities may include changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, addressing scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.
