Job Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for upholding the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas within the hotel. This role entails daily servicing of guest accommodations in accordance with hotel procedures, including stocking housekeeping carts with necessary supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room amenities while adhering to company standards and safety/security protocols. Additionally, the Housekeeper may be tasked with conducting deep cleaning activities within guest rooms and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications
– High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in hotel services or related fields is preferred.
– Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
– Ability to clearly convey information and ideas.
– Quick and accurate evaluation and selection among alternative courses of action is required.
– Capability to perform well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities
– Provide friendly, service-oriented interactions with guests and team members.
– Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, with flexibility to accommodate hotel scheduling needs.
– Adhere to high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag as per brand standards.
– Comply consistently with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to support safe and efficient hotel operations.
– Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
– Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including preparation of guest supplies, cleaning products, and linens for the housekeeping cart.
– Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms promptly.
– Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
– Disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms as needed to facilitate deep cleaning.
– Deep cleaning responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, repairing scratched furniture, and re-hanging sliding doors.
