Job description:

A Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces within the hotel. The primary responsibilities include daily servicing of guest rooms in alignment with hotel procedures, stocking the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room amenities, all while adhering to company standards and safety/security protocols. Additionally, this position may involve performing deep cleaning tasks in guest rooms alongside preventative maintenance responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance consistent with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, as dictated by scheduling needs.
  • Uphold high personal appearance and grooming standards, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including preparation of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens for the housekeeping cart.
  • Remove all trash and dirty linens from guest rooms.
  • Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • May be required to disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms to facilitate deep cleaning.
  • Execute deep cleaning tasks, which may include changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, repairing scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in hotel or a related field.
  • This position necessitates strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.
